With over 17 years of executive experience as a CEO, CFO, and COO in the Technology, Energy, IT & Telecom, and Media industries. Elevation Advisory is pleased to be lead by an experienced executive who has been involved in IPO’s, SPAC, RTO, vertical and horizontal M&A, PCAOB, SEC and SOX compliance. Experience working with investment banks and IPO underwriters such as, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, and Goldman Sachs, while holding CFO titles in companies involved in the securities market such as, the OTC, OTCQB, and NASDAQ. Adept in treasury, securities law, GAAP, IFRS, and corporate governance. Expert in uplisting strategies, capitalization, asset protection and dilution avoidance. Renowned for his technical skill experience in SEC filings (8K, 10Q, 10K) Cost Accounting, Inventory, manufacturing process, budgeting, Financial Planning &Analysis (FP&A). IRS codes and tax reform (TCJA) such as, ASC 606, ASC 740, ASC840, ASC 842. ISO 9001, BPM, BPR, IRC446. Experience with ERP implementation per SEC requirements (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, SAGE, Yardi, JD Edwards, Timberline, MS Dynamics, QuickBooks, etc).
Mr. Perez has been credited for growing the EBITDA sevenfold on his prior C-level appointments, and has been a critical designer for the organization turnaround, investment & tax strategies. Not to mention that he has partnered with former executive teams and board of directors, bearing results that increased the market cap, asset portfolio, investors ROI, and the owner's equity.
Perez graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business and holds multiple advanced degrees earning an M.S. in Accounting from Seton Hall University, and holding his MBAs from Northeastern University, and the University of Phoenix. Perez is a CPA candidate for the state of NJ and is a member of the Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society. He is a certified manager (C.M.) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and holds many professional training and certificates in different areas such as, Corporate Strategy, Global Finance, Lean, Six Sigma and many more.
Perez is fluent in Eglish, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.
